Description
Lo Mejor de la Más Popular de Venezuela – Billos Caracas Boys
A classic collection celebrating the music of Billo's Caracas Boys, one of the most important orchestras in Venezuelan and Caribbean popular music. Led by legendary musician and bandleader Billo Frómeta, the orchestra became famous for its lively arrangements, tropical rhythms, and memorable vocalists.
This release features a series of potpourris (medleys) bringing together numerous popular songs performed by the orchestra. Much of the material features celebrated Venezuelan vocalist Cheo García, with additional performances by Felipe Pirela and ensemble choruses. The repertoire moves through cumbia, porro, merengue, guaracha, bolero, and other tropical styles.
