Shakira’s fifth studio album and her first album recorded primarily in English, Laundry Service marked her major crossover into the international English-language pop market. Originally released in November 2001 by Epic Records, the album blends pop rock with Latin, Andean, Middle Eastern, dance, and tango influences. It features some of Shakira’s biggest crossover hits, including “Whenever, Wherever,” “Underneath Your Clothes,” and “Objection (Tango).”
The album was released in a 20th-anniversary 2LP vinyl edition, pressed on two 150-gram opaque yellow records.
