Ritmo en el Corazón is the 1988 collaboration between salsa legend Celia Cruz and percussionist, bandleader, and composer Ray Barretto. The album combines Cruz’s commanding vocals with Barretto’s powerful Afro-Cuban percussion and salsa arrangements, featuring eight tracks including “El Chisme,” “No Me Cambie Camino,” “Para Decirte Adiós,” “Mala Suerte,” and the title track “Ritmo en el Corazón.” The album was released by Fania in 1988.
